GAR Roberts has worked as tour manager for Roy Ayers, Lonnie Liston Smith, Jean Carne, Norman Connors, Teddy Pendergrass, Gabrielle Goodman, Doc Powell, Pieces of A Dream, and worked production for Natalie Cole, B B King, Anita Baker, along with many other Artist. This gave way to his travels throughout the US, Europe, & Japan.GAR co founded, Startrak Records in 1989, an independent label based in Baltimore MD, where he signed and was Executive Producer for legendary Jazz keyboardist, Lonnie Liston Smith. This project included at its conclusion special guest: Grover Washington Jr., Phyllis Hyman, Jean Carne, Norman Connors, and Najee. This album entitled "Love Goddess" went top ten on the Billboard charts.GAR signed Jazz Super-Group; Pieces Of A Dream, and with Danny Harmon's relationship with Bruce Lundvall, President of EMI/Capitol/Blue Note Records, secured National Distribution and a production deal.Since the signing of Pieces Of A Dream and the development of G.
