Jesus Christ Superstar

About Me

The concept of the Tabor Superstar Band project started as an idea of the vocalist Stepan Pavlik in 2004. He and some other future band members often spoke about the opportunity to perform the legendary rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. With a desire to play live this Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s masterpiece there was soon assembled a superstar line up of the renowned musicians from South Bohemia. Apart from their common experiences in music they are all gathered together by love and admiration for Jesus Christ Superstar notes and story. They also became great friends...

In 2007 Tabor Superstar Band has the honour of introducing a famed Czech musical singer Tomas Trapl as a special guest. On September 14 in Tabor the band and he appeared on stage in front of 6.500 people!
