My name's Gene. I'm an artist (see fotos), writer (see blog), and overall bon vivant (see for yourself). Offbeat even among the offbeat, I've been told. Not peculiar, just my own person. Lots of fun, sociable, but require a good deal of time alone too. People say I'm a good friend and a good listener. Gay, but don't be looking for me in Chelsea (unless I'm on my way to somewhere else, like a gallery) or at musicals (unless I'm with my mother). I'm a young but not pathetically trying to be so fifty-one(my friends and I all have a pact that we will point out all age-inappropriate behavior/clothing, no matter how painful). Not a lot of patience for stupid behavior, and pretentious or whiny people. I've been among all sorts--rich, poor, blue, collar, celebs.
