About Me

(Page best viewed with 1024x768 resolution)
a b o u t c o r e y k .
A little bit about myself... my name is Corey, you can call me that or Corey K. (whatever your prefer is fine with me). I'm 18 years old and I currently live in University Place, WA. I was born and raised in Tacoma, WA (not very far from U.P.) and I just recently moved out of town. Even though it's fact that i've moved away from where my friends are, my life is still surrounded by friends and I appreciate and enjoy every moment
they stuff into my life.
Grew up as a shy kid, not very talkative
and very held back from the world,
somewhat in a shell. But I soon broke
that mold when I entered high school
and became more out there.
I'm a digital/graphic artist, which I consider a
hobby that could truly start a career for myself
in the "art department". I have the need to feed
on creative knowledge and I have the urge to do
things different as well as changing and
belonging to the word 'Different'.
I'm also an artist in many other ways as well.
I have a few music projects coming about and I
have been apart of one for the past two years.
I also have plans to start some sort of clothing
line in the future, yes, it's true. But i'm not
saying much right now because it's for future
purposes.
I also am Straight Edge (no drinking, no drugs, etc.). I suppose this movement OR lifestyle (as I should say) is best for me. It is in my best interest that I stay that way until i'm old and gray. As "goodie goodie" as it may sound... i've been clean my whole life.
I suppose my goal in life is just to be me, always changing but still seeming to be the same through my creativity and will to create whatever I can. I would hope that whatever I create helps me get somewhere in life. But for now, I can only hope for that. I've barely reached a beginning... I don't even think mine will begin until a few years from now.

Here's a list of my frequently answered questions...
Q1: Do you know every person on your friendlist? And did you add every single person to the list?
A: No, I do not. I personally know about half of the people on there. There is a lot of people on there that I know in person, .. and many random people that have added me in the past who i've actually talked to. A lot of the friends are also bands and members of bands. As for the adding people question. I have honestly added only about 100 - 250 people (including bands that I enjoy). Everyone else has added me.
Q2: You have a website coming soon?
A: Yeah. I'm working on my own website. I do a lot of art on my computer... and a lot of people tell me that I am talented at what I have created in the past. I feel that it is time that I have my own website to show off all... and I mean ALL of my work.
Q3: What clothing line?
It's in the works. I'm working alongside a friend with this project, i'll talk about it more once I figure out what's going on with it.
Q4: Is Myspace becoming a way to promote yourself?
A: In some ways, yes. But other than that... not completely. I'm mainly using it to keep in contact with friends, while promoting myself and meeting other people around the world.
Q5: What programs do you use for your art?
A: I use Photoshop, ImageReady, Macromedia Freehand, Paint Shop Pro, MS Paint, etc. ... oh, and myself... but i'm not a robot, promise.
Q6: How long have you had a Myspace account?
A: Since late 2004. Mhmm.
Q7: Can we actually see your face?
A: I don't like taking pictures of myself. Eventually i'll have a good picture of myself that will make me say "Oh! I have to put this on my Myspace!"
Q8: What does the K. stand for?
A: My last name, it's long.

I'd like to meet:

w h o i ' d l i k e t o m e e t .
(Who I'd like to meet)

I'll add anyone who seems like a good person, i'm pretty open minded. Open-minded people are my type of people! NO... I am not just adding people to raise up the number on my friendlist, if anything, I am against that. If you don't match up with the "Who I don't want to Meet" then i'll add you for sure. If I you think you know me, then shout it out to me. If you know I know you and you know me then go ahead and give me a friend request, i'd be happy to add you. If I have never met you or never heard of you before, be sure to say hello once I add you to my friendlist... Or you'll be forgotten.

(Who I don't want to meet)

Drunks & Druggies/Stoners = A NO-NO for Corey... sorry, but I try to stay away from those sort of people. Now, I honestly don't think drinking is so bad, but if you are one of those people who continue to drink and call it an addiction... we're gonna have problems.

If you think you belong to one of these below... please, do NOT add me...
People who whore around on Myspace, post chain bulletins, post bulletins with huge titles, post excessive bulletins as messages to other people, who use internet slang all the time... etc, etc, ETC.
GOD didn't tell anyone to repost a bulletin
No one is going to kill you in your sleep.
STOP posting those bulletins! Please!

Too many to list here... but...
Freddy Mercury (Queen)
He brought a show to life. I think he was the best frontman of all time.
David Bowie
The fashion, the tunes, god.
Davey Havok (AFI)
The best frontman of today. Without my interest in his beliefs and what he does, I don't think I would be who I am today. He's an inspiration of my time.
Robert Smith (The Cure)
Need I say more?
Bjork
For her originality. I love her voice. She is Lovely. She is Amazing. She is breath-taking. She should be my wife someday.
Kyo (Dir en grey)
For the way he writes, the way he is and the way he expresses emotions on stage.
Starbucks
My battery pack.
My most closest, supportive friends & family, you know who you are. Whether you've made a big impact in my life or not, I wouldn't be here today without you all.
