Poetic, creative, and innovative, PitchBlaque's love for music has allowed him to transform words into a soulful sound. He has been inspired by music since he was 4 years old. His musical aim is to break away from the redundancy of todays music in order to create an avenue for those who want to go against the grain of popular music. He is a graduate of J.O. Johnson High school and then went on to attend Alabama A & M University. M.D. enjoys songwriting, writing poetry, short stories, composing music. M.D. desires to bring a new perspective to the music industry, not only by putting meaningful ideas into music, but also by creating thought provoking soulful music. Being introduced to music through long Saturday house cleanings, M.D. began to appreciate different genre of music by way of artist such as the Gap Band, ZZ Hill, Franky Beverly featuring Maze, and Bill Whithers. This apparent acceptance of music led PitchBlaque M.D. to pursue music in a more former since in school where he took to the percussion and allowed it to further his knowledge and experience in music. Being born into the culture of Hip-Hop, M.D. has capture his own poetic, but yet, soulful expression of the one art that is truly the greatest of the arts, music!
