From 1993 up till now, dejaay "Maestro" born Cyrus James, has been penning dancehall lyrics. Growing up surrounded by this genre of music, got the St Lucian artist hooked to the vibes it brings. His 2003 local debut did not bring him as much publicity as he wanted, but he still kept on striving.Maestro then moved to Barbados and did a few singles on riddims produced by local producer "Junior Killa". His recent tracks "Wild Wild West", "Highgrade", "Inna Di Plce" and the hit colabaration "Street Mentality" featuring Pignataro Massive has helped him climb one step higher on the ladder to success. Maestro aims to be in the eye of the public with his versitility. He feels he has alot to offer.
