Existing on the staple foods of cigarettes, song lyrics and the ubiquitous cuppa. I have extended periods of absence from this world that is myspace. Blame it on ennui, inspiredlessness, sunlight, good times and of course ..... chronic.
I use myspace sporadically to search for new homegrown urban music, which I love, and for keeping up to date with faraway friends, chatting with near ones and very little else, as such, I am probably about as interested in your indie/rock band as I am in lettuce. Send me a takeaway (or a pizza, as you're in Chicago Town!) and I may change my mind for you!
In my spare time I collect pictures of strange roadsigns, drive a lot, shout at my computer and store up witticisms in an empty shoe box. The shoe box remains empty, and as such I remain the one who seeks.
Somewhat ashamedly, I am completely and utterly hooked on a couple of TV progs, despite my hate for the infernal machine. I judge myself harshly, and yet, I am still watching.
I can usually be found with my nose in a book, or spouting lines from HitchHikers Guide or The Duncton Chronicles, which remain my favourite reads. They still chill my soul, wrench my heart and make me nod sagely despite having read them more times than I can keep track of.
So this is my life. I'd like you to know that I am both happy and sad despite my positive bearing if you meet me, how this state of mind exists for me, is a puzzle and the answer is too long to go into here.
Sometimes what you're looking for is staring right back at you.
Smile.
