My name is Tania Leite, I was born in Sâo Paulo, Brazil. At the moment I am living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.My love for art, started in 1986. As all love in growth, my love passed through some crises too.I did some searches in the external world and travelled so deep in my soul, that now I know the art is in me, forever and ever.My first professional exposition, was realized in 1987 at the Atelier 53 in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. I have participated in many expositions since then and have received several awards.1989: The Primeiro Salão de Artes Exposition at the gallery from Resende shopping - Brazil 1995: The Artistas do Vale do Paraíba of Exposition at the Hall of Conventions of the River Park’s Hotel in Resende, Brazil. 1996: Primeiro Festival de Girassol , at the Sunflower’s Gallery Hotel in Pênedo, Brazil. I was awarded the Mensão Especial. 2003: Secunda Exposição Coletiva from II FEIRARTE, at Pênedo Shopping Gallery in Pênedo, Brazil. 2003: Cores do Brasil, at Nautico’s Club Gallery in Angra dos Reis, Brazil. 2004: Sétima Amostra de Arte - AMPARARTE, at the Colégio Nossa Senhora do Amparo in Barra Mansa, Brazil. 2004: Artes e Talentos, at the Hall of Exposition of the City of Pênedo, Brazil. 2005: Coletiva de Artistas Plásticos, at the Artes Plássticas ‘s Gallery in Resende, Brazil. 2007: Awarded the Título de Honra ao Mérito at the Vila Rica Hotel Gallery in Resende, Brazil. 2007: Awarded the Titulo de Homenagem Especial, at the Associação Brasileira de Artes e Desenhos Visuais ( ABD ) and the Academia Militar das Agulhas Negras (AMAN) in Resende, Brazil.
