:-)This page hopefully reflects the continual evolution of my passion for "PHOTOGRAPHY" and art. A passion, that like me, will always be evolving, and like life is, always in the process of becoming. The background picture on this page is a view of the Tampa, Florida skyline. I snapped this shot March 2009 on a morning stroll along the Bayshore. The pictures in the photo-lense slide below and the film strip slide on the left are samples of my practice projects Enjoy! ..

Photographs, like poetry, are moments of life frozen in time. It is that rare instant when outer mystery meets inner chemistry and the observer is illumined...the mind becomes crowded with thoughts as it scrambles to describe the indescribable. Words often can not contain the images behind the eyes.Click...and palm trees are not just palm trees - they are arms reaching out for freedom...they are tall and straight and proud...in groups or alone they resist, persist and exist...majestic and regal..they pose in the elegant stance of statuesque models. Each breeze carries their gentle whispers to my soul, filling it with forgotten answers to unasked questions. They remind me of my roots and attach me to the moment. I awake to a privileged knowing that greatness often lives in the ordinary...everything and everyone is an unwritten poem that makes it's self known to whom and when it pleases. P.S. This page is all about creative energy. . . feel free to share yours...Myspace Layouts

Mermaids

Recently I have enjoyed spending time practicing my drawing skills. Sometimes it seems all I can sketch are faces, or middle aged fat ladies overcoming dispair. Finally these lovely mermaids have appeared. They are such fun. I sketch them with colored pencils, scan them, and carefully pose them within various underwater scenes which I obtain from stock photos. Finally I go bananas applying digital art effects to all the layers. They are so much fun! This is how I have been teaching myself:-)

My Interests
