Stephaun "Hatrid" McRae was born in Augusta,GA and currently resides in Killeen,TX and is enrolled in Central Texas College majoring in automotive technology. Born and raised in the projects of Sunset Villa, one of the baddest areas in Augusta,GA he has not let the streets quick money making scheme take over his mind or his goal to be one of the most gifted artists to come out of his hometown as well as the south. Hatrid has been writing off and on since the age of 12 with influences from artists such as 2Pac, Mos Def, Nas, Biggie, Rakim, and Ludacris, to name a few. During his stint in the U.S. Army he hooked with Terrell "Crown Vega" Rutherford and this was the start of something beautiful. Crown Vega took Hatriot in and showed him the ropes like how to format your music and a number of other things. Hatrid is currently working on some new music to bring to the streets.
