Drumming is the common link. Percussion has given me the opportunity to meet and interact with the most interesting and diverse people in countries throughout the world, including North and South America, Africa and Europe; from people as varied as Grammy Award winners and UFC fighters to Berber nomads; people in their twilight years and young people whose lives are just beginning.Currently,I am playing congas and percussion with DJ Salsamojo every Thursday at Cuerno in downtown Atlanta. I am also playing with my other bands Sockmonkey, The Landman Band and DMT.I am also teaching percussion at Marietta High School,Marietta Middle School and Hightower Trail Middle School.I would also like to thank my good friend Rouzbeh who turned me on to Cajon and is also a great supporter of my approach to percussion.
