Atason began with singer Alex Brennan and rythym guitarist Michael Welsh getting togther to write songs and play guitar. Drummer Jeff Peterman, bassist Geoff Hynes and lead guitarist Nick Seditious where later added to the mix. With each band member having distinctly diffrent musical tastes, the influences range from pop, country, blues, folk, rock and even metal. As all the members write and give their input on songs the music has taken a shape of it's own as the band attempts to write songs that everyone can enjoy.
