JPS is a curious dj, always open to a new tune and in permanent search of the lost tracks that can twist your soul. His sets are built over a breakbeat substrate where urban music influences, with particular attention to the funk and hip-hop scenes, are blended in irresistible and tasteful fashion.
With no fear and respecting no borders, JPS takes us along a hip-shaking road, bringing to the dancefloor the latest releases from some of the most interesting independent labels from around the globe, and groovy classics long forgotten in the vinyl vaults of the 20th century.
Mixing the beats, evolving scratchs and loops with ease, is sets are anything than obvious, and are extremely danceable exercises with great technical and musical consistency.
