Blue Canoe

About Me

Lora started out singing first in a gospel choir and then a church choir, as well as playing at many blues jams for several years in Montreal and Toronto. In 2000, Lora was one of the founding members of Wilma, an alternative rock band that played gigs in Toronto from 2000 till 2004. When Lora met Pete in 2003, Pete was in one of a string of rock bands, including The Demonseeds, that he played with since the early 90's. Pete joined Wilma on bass as a fill in for a couple of gigs just before Wilma disbanded. In 2005, Lora and Pete were married and Blue Canoe was born. Blue Canoe has been gigging in the pubs and bars of Toronto ever since.
