About Me

The Banana Box has some history. First, singer/lead-guitarist Pieter-Jan started to learn guitar, and after six months Wouter followed his footsteps. When we began to play covers, we felt it was going good. On that moment, we decided to begin an acoustic pop punk rock band. We got a chance to perform on stage in a youthcentre called "Den Uyl". We officially started from that day on, calling ourselves "Hearts And Stripes". Since then, we started to write our own songs, like "Juice", "The All-Knowing Me", "Miss Fortune" and "The Burning Flag Of My "LoveLand"". A couple of months later, we changed our name into "The Banana Box". Now we're looking for people who want to hear us play. Rock On!Ps: Wouter is member of a very cool rockband called "Frozen".
