About Me

Hello, my name is Benjamin, but you can call me Ben if you'd like, it doesn't matter to me. I also have a profile on Facebook and hi5.com, the web address is --> http://kairoszenith.hi5.com -- Also, I play SOCOM .. for the PS2 and my profile for it is www.myspace.com/KairosKiller I haven't done anything to the profile yet, I just have it on there to keep in touch with people I meet on the game.
Oh, just so you know, if you're wondering ...... Kairos is an ancient Greek word meaning the "right or opportune moment". The ancient Greeks had two words for time, chronos and kairos. While the former refers to chronological or sequential time, the latter signifies "a time in between", a moment of undetermined period of time in which "something" special happens. What the special something is depends on who is using the word. While chronos is quantitative, kairos has a qualitative nature. -- Zenith is the highest point or state which is usually referred to in astronomy. So 2gether it's kind of like the height or best time to take adventeage of an opportune moment. That's why my MySpace URL is KairosZenith.
Okay, a little bout me. i like to analyze things and situations and come up with a solution. i consider myself to be an amateur engineer and scientist. i watched my dad do electronics growing up and picked up on that. My mom is Korean. Korean food is awesome. i worked on my own car growing up. i feel i can fix just about anything if i have the righ tools and resources. i like to travel and do active things, but i also like to relax sometimes.
one of my other passions is astronomy. ever since i was a kid i love looking up at the stars and appreciate the beauty of everything up there because there is so much. i like to go meteor showers, especially during the cool seasons because that's the best time to look at astronomical events. I love looking up at the stars and planets and pictures of galaxies, nebulas, northern lights. Speaking of pictures, I love taking pictures. I'm old fashioned, I have a film camera, although the ease of use and cheaper use because of no film developing makes digital cameras appealing.
I try to be outgoing. I like to travel, car shows, fitness, music (I took six years of music in school), movies, racing, and just about anything. My friends would say my award winning qualities would be that I'm too nice, compassionate, and understanding, because sometimes, that can get you in trouble because some people will take advantage of that, but I believe that in the long run you come out ahead. I believe in the golden rule, treat others the way you want to be treated, but now they have a new one out, the platinum rule, treat others the way THEY want to be treated, hmmmm, makes more sense.
I also believe that in order to succeed in anything, whether it's bussiness, relationships, or anything else that you must put others first. Think about how you can help others and your needs shall be met and your problems taken care of. Being selfish gets you nowhere and if it does, it will be short lived and you'll miss out on your full potential. I know a lot of this stuff you might have heard b4 but most people hear it and say, yeah, that's good but don't dwell on it and say, yeah, I need to do that because it really would be beneficial. Just like some psycoligist said that most people will go through life looking for happiness inevitably won't find it, because happiness is a now experience.
Also, no one has the right to tell you that you can't do something. I think the only way to fail at something is to quit. Because if you keep trying you have to eventually get better at it and figure it out. That makes me think of something else, and that's to always keep your word. If you tell somebody you will do something than you should do it. I pride myself at trying to keep my word, if I tell you I will do something, I usually do it. That's one of the most powerful things you have in this world, Your Word. Well, I guess that'll be all for now. If you want anymore info or any clarification, then you'll just have to e-mail me .......

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet someone with similar interests, but also with different interest to add spice and to be able to learn and grow with each other. Especially someone that likes to learn, and/or science, and/or astronomy, and/or nature and the outdoors.
