About Me

Born in Central NY, Started in on the poetry slam team at SUNY Oneonta in 2002. Co-founder of the Intangibles spoken word collective and all around swell guy. Traveled to the collegiate poetry slam nationals twice, once as a coach in 2003 in Fayetville, Arkansas (the team placing 4th), and as a competitor in 2004 in Berkeley, CA (taking 5th place). I was runner up in the 2004 Richmond Grand Slam, toured up and down the east coast shortly afterward with Joseph LMS, and returned to oneonta. Coached the 2005 Oneonta National Poetry Slam Team, who placed 43rd in our first trip nationals, held in Albuquerque, NM. Continued with poetry workshops and forums for middle and high schools, as well as community colleges, spreading the influence of the spoken word. Runner up at the 2007 Oneonta grand slam, competing at nationals again in Austin TX, where we were disqualified, yet won the spirit of the slam award. Have just started graduate school at southern Illinois university for linguistic/cultural anthropology. Go salukis! This profile was edited with FearKiller's Pimp MySpace 2.0

Aphorisms 3

The spaces between tiles of the linoleum floor here in this coffee shop contain more space and a bigger void than between you and me- at least one of us is aware of the other.
