Alessandro Raiola in arte Alex Rai, inizia la carriera di dj all’età di 15 anni. Appassionato di musica house e techno diventa ben presto resident del Lido Azzurro, la cui dancehall vedeva alternarsi in quegli anni artisti di fama internazionale come Junior Jack, Kid Crème, Enzo Cipolletta. Nel 2004 prende parte ad Electronika, un progetto la cui “mission” è dare una svolta al “concept” di “evento” attraverso nuove sonorità e nuovi “format”. In Electronika trova la sua consacrazione come artista lavorando nei migliori locali della scena campana, quali Freezer, Le Caveau, Arenile, Velvet, Nowhere, Dolce Vita ecc. alternandosi in consolle con dj del calibro di Jona, Dj Fiore, Alessandra Argentino ed altri. Nell’ estate del 2005 sbarca in Grecia a Mykonos dove lavora per locali come il Club Paradise e Radio Paranga, ripetendosi negli anni a seguire. Nel 2007 le sue prime produzioni su Makin Records e 32 Bit Records con lo pseudonimo Alex&Emilio riscuotono un notevole successo; in particolare con False Topic Ep ed Electronika Ep arriva a scalare la vetta della top ten di Juno.co.uk piazzando entrambi i lavori nei primi 10 posti. Del disco su Makin Electronika Ep, la traccia “Heart Painted” è stata selezionata per una compilation di prossima uscita, Essential Minimal Selection, insieme ad altri nomi illustri del panorama musicale italiano ed internazionale. Sono in programma ulteriori uscite su 32 Bit Records e su 303Lovers.

His passion for the music house and techno becomes well soon resident of the Blue Beach, whose dancehall saw to alternate in that years artists of international fame as Junior Jack, Kid Crème, Enzo Cipolletta. In 2004 he takes part to Electronika, a project whose "mission" it is to give a turn to the "concept" of "event" through new sonorities and new "format." In Electronika he finds his consecration as artist and start working in the best places of the scene, like Freezer, the Caveau, Arenile, Velvet, Nowhere, Dolce Vita etc. alternating in console with dj of the caliber of Jona, Dj Fiore, Alessandra Argentino and others. In the summer of 2005 he went to Greece - Mykonos where he works at the Club Paradise and Radio Paranga, the same in the summer 2006-2007. In 2007 his first productions on Makin Records and 32 Bit Records with the pseudonym Alex&Emilio receive a notable success; particularly with False Topic Ep and Electronika Ep it comes to climb the peak of the top ten of Juno.co.uk placing both the jobs in the first 10 places.
