I love to sing, strum my guitars and play my drums. I lead worship at my church. Our website is... www.otterbeinchurch.com ...
I am employed through the state at another job. I'll sing anywhere I get the chance. Pretty much any style I get a chance to sing also. I also love hanging out with my dad and singing with him when we are able to get together. He's where I get my country music side from... I have a passion for using my music as encouragement for others to enjoy the life God has given us, help provoke thought in others to re-examine their own lives, and for worship. I love being able to stand before people as I sing and see lives touched, people having fun. Each time I lead worship I get the honor of being able to lead people directly into the throne room of God so they too may have an encounter with Him and develop deeper relationships with Him. That is my ultimate goal in all that I do, other than my own personal growth and relationship with Jesus. I would also love to someday record music in a professional setting.I take great pride in watching my two boys grow and develop into young men. I am in awe when they come to visit me and I hear them share excitement about things in their lives and scripture they have learned. I was able to stand in awe as this summer my oldest, Daniel, helped me with the worship at the church. I had asked him to read scripture in between songs during the prayer time. He had taken this very serious, and without prompting not only spoke it but had memorized all the verses so he would be able to speak clearly and not be fumbling with a book and would not interfere with the worship. To watch my 13 year old speak those scriptures and let God's Holy Spirit flow through him made me both proud and VERY humbled. I also got the privilege of watching Adam, my 11 year old at our church picnic playing games over and over to win deserts! I thought he was just trying to satisfy his sweet tooth with his chocolate cravings as I was caught up in doing the music. Later as I approached him I was surprised to learn he had been winning all the deserts he could, to share with the kids from the neighboring pavilions and had been inviting them to check out all the cool things our church had to offer. He had also been sharing his faith with the others through this situation. I believe they are the greatest gift, other than salvation, that God has given me. I seem to learn more from them, everytime they are with me... more than they do from me!
