I used to be a music nerd and now I'm just a nerd. I went from George Michael in the 80's to NYC Hardcore to Journey. It's weird how the cycle goes.
Right now my favorite band is Gnarls Barkley. I can't get enough of them! I also LOVE Me First & the Gimme Gimmes. Maybe because they cover those "Journeyesque" songs that I'm loving as an older person, who the hell knows. Maybe it's cause I've got non-threatening crushes on all of them. Yeah, that could be it.
I love funny movies. Some of my all time favs are: Strange Brew, The Jerk, Elf, Old School, Caddyshack, SpaceBalls, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Life of Brian, This is Spinal Tap, Anchorman, etc.
I also like Based-on-a-true-story type of crap like Alive & such. I like to make up my own little thoughts of what REALLY happened that the movie isn't telling us.
I love the Simpsons, a lot. I also love Project Runway, America's Next Top Model (SO? Shoot me!), the Family Guy, Seinfeld, The Young Ones, Sell-My -House type of shows, the Food Network (obsessed), and stuff like that.
