We are proud and happy to present you a group from Tahiti, and after his first album,TahitiTalk, “De l’autre côté du mondeâ€, the second opus : « fat sliced pieces of polynesian electro house » is now available and can be downloaded ! TahitiTalk’s initial inspiration came from the polynesian culture, from around the Pacific ocean (Marquesas, Tahiti, New-Zealand, ...). This two albums are a beautiful combination of groove tempo, drums from the islands, dub rythmes, electro sounds with voices, traditional instruments and “mana†(polynesian spirit). TAHITITALK is the works in Tahiti between Patrick Lalandec, experimented songwriter-composer with more of 20 years background in music, Thierry Chaussinand, sound designer and producer, and polynesian musicians. TahitiTalk joins traditional and modern influences to make the house music in Polynesian style : a melting-pot of influences drawed in the polynesian triangle. TahitiTalk is also a tribute to the “tupuna†(ancients warriors), they gave us the culture and the music, wich is mixed with electro sounds to look forward in the 21th century.
