About Me

A native to Rodeo, California Rich Lawson has been rapping since the age of 13. After seeing his older cousins become involved in music he followed their lead and began rapping and writing with them. Through this imitation he began making feel good music that is smooth for the ladies a style he still uses today. Recently he has worked with Smallzville, Tas, Yun' Doe, Mike-E, Rube, Circus the Kid, on their up coming mixtape and individually with Circus the Kid on the Circus and Lawson Project. Other collaborations have been with artists including Agent A, Priest, the Frontline, Tas and Yun' Doe. Together, some of them have produced the Demolition Men mixtape, Tas' mixtape and the Priest album. All display his natural ability as a lyricist and how his passion for music is real.

He strives for success through his record sales while enjoying the process, that's what it's all about. He is heavily influenced by the Bay Rappers and credits them with much of his wordplay abilities. Although Rich Lawson is an 80's baby his innovative and unique styles of music are nothing of the past.

Currently 21, Circus began rapping three years ago in Smallzville, California. Although his rapping career has just begun he has accomplished much with his talent and skill. Circus is inspired and influenced by many of his friends and fellow rappers who have the same interests as he does. He collaborates with them to produce much of his music, recently Circus and Rich Lawson teamed up to create the Circus and Lawson Project. Circus has also worked with Tas, Yun' Doe, Rube, Rich Lawson, and Mike-E on the Smallzville Mixtape which is hoped to be finished and released soon. Other collaborations have been with Haji, Sunny, Che, Diligentz, Hood Stars, Big Rich, Simon Phenix and YunWin.

Circus the Kid has many ambitions as a growing artist but most of all he wants to gain respect and be remembered through his music and raps. His laidback style and swagger are a fresh addition to the already funky hip-hop world. It's about the image and Circus the Kid has the image.

Tas, 23, was born in Louisiana, from East Oakland CA. Now resides in Smallzville, California. His unique style of rap began while in middle school as a voice for the people. Much of his inspiration comes from those close to him, especially his boys. His current projects include the Tasmania Mixtape, which is currently released and the Smallzville Mixtape, which is in progress, both display his distinct style of music. Through his music he finds a way to relate to the people and allow them to understand who he is and why he writes. Tas writes when he is feeling down as a way to better his mood. As do most up and coming rappers, he aspires to be successful and admired by his peers. His confidence has brought him to where he is now and will keep him going until he is through, in the words of Tas music is me.

Yun' Doe, 22, began writing raps when he was 12, but only when he turned 14 did he begin to take music seriously. Jumping between Smallzville, CA and Atlanta, GA, Yun' Doe is able to make music that has a little bit of something for everyone. Doe describes his music as "life experiences" and his sound is a combination of that Southern swagger mixed with Bay Area style. He has songs for the ladies, clubs, and tracks for the streets. Yun' Doe is greatly influenced and inspired by his everyday life and people struggling. He wants to show the youngsters that it's more ways in hustlin' than just selling drugs, staying away from the negativity of the streets is the way to make it to the top, but we also can't ignore it.

Doe's professional career includes a self-titled mixtape "Yun' Doe Movement," which was released in early 2007. Since then he has been collaborating with Keak da Sneak and other various underground Atlanta rappers on the "Never Die Young" mixtape, which is out now. Yun' Doe's passion and love for music are clear and radiate through his raps.

Mike-E also known as Mike-Dash-E has a passion for rapping since during his B-Boy days. In 2005 he began writing as a serious lyricist. Originally from the Philippines, he immigrated to the United States at the age of four. Currently living in Concord, California, however he “reps” Smallzville (94572), California. Where he has been raised since the 80’s. Abandoned by his father and solely raised by his mother and his recent lost of his “Meassa Vitug”, has driven his passion for music to work even harder.

Currently in Smallzville Camp, his UnorthanoXX Family influences him, where he started his music career. UnorthanoXX family consist of Rommel Fernando, Louie Nubla (Producers) and the Duece-One Group consisting of Yun Ron, Rich & Famous, and Mike-Dash-E; in hopes of releasing a mixtape in the future. He then began working with other artist from the Smallzville Camp and created hits like “Off Top, Don’t Turn Your Back and Hate Me Now; featuring Tas and Beazy F. He featured on the “Circus the Kid & Rich Lawson Project” and Tas “T. Slaughter” album and other upcoming mixtapes/albums.
