About Me

J.Winters was born on october 3 1984 is the youngest of five siblings and is a native of syracuse artisticly inclined all his life it started when he was real young about 1991 he use to take the tapes from his collection and his tape deck with stop rewind play record he was making dub tapes and instrumentals from artist such as N.W.A,eazye,drdre,KRSONE,Blacksheep,das efx,Publicenemy,gangstarr,rakim,S.W.V,htown,Jodici and many other old school artist from the late 80'and the early 90' in 1997 J Winters had a lifeschange with music and some trumatic experiences he then shifted into punkrock 4 a couple years then he baught a guitar and sucked at playing it but with dicipline and time he began to understand music a little bit more by the year 2000 he was a self taught rhythm guitarist he met up with what turned out to be his best friends who pastaway(R.I.Pdrunkin j A.K.A jermey spargue)and they formed a guitar group they called coldwar his boi J moved to haggerstown mariland and he started a band out there called blackplague they stayed in touch but winters craved to play more music so he kept the band name and found brian B, for lead guitars Chuck B on bass and gino on the drums Coldwar played a couple small shows in syracuse they recorded at In.My.House in the northern east country and thecoldwarstudio in fredricksburg V.A. coldwar broke up in 2002 by that time winters grew deeper into a hardcorekid he jamed out for a lil while longer along the side of billykyle,tomdom,benshaw and some of bens other friends and helped along the lines of teaching some of them how to play rhythmguitar in 2004 ben shaw and tom dom decided to form a punk band at tha time winters was into a different scene so he put his guitar down and really started progressing his arts in the studio first he put all his energy into techno/dance music after mastering the art of producing his own techno/dance music shifted back into the hiphop scene except this time he was useing his own beats and lyrics and producing himself and other local artists as well J.Winters has been producing and recording for more then the past 7 years. After being a musician in the hardcore,metal scene, jwinters shifted his focus to producing in 2002. His energetic free form style seperates him from the rest of the producers. J Winters' HipHop/emotronic and much more. He currently runs a concept promotional label IN.MY.HOUSE Productions and is also working with many other various artist. in his time he is to produce and mix his and other peoples music and help promote other artists around syracuse on his free time he likes to watch movies,get wasted,play videogames, chill with his people,go out bar hopping,promotemusic,make mixed cd and sleep.
