Born in Los Angeles and started playing music at age 9. I started my first band, playing guitar, when I was 12, later switched to bass when I joined the FleshEaters during the punk era. Several albums on SST records and a couple of tours later I left to start seriously persueing cycling, got on the best US team at the time and moved to Belgium to race, also spending a year racing in Australia. After a decent finish at the Olympic trials, (not good enough to make the team though) and a subsequent water skiing accident, I quit racing.
I then returned to music, playing bass for the Hutchinsons, and after being inspired by the dj scene in Belgium and the Netherlands, bought two 1200's and a mixer.
I joined up with the Bassground crew out of Amsterdam in 2001 and threw several one-offs and weekly's in Hollywood such as Bassground-LA, Airplay, Launch, 420(4 Decks, 2 DJ's, 0 shit!), Sunset Junction Street Fair dnb stage, along with gigs in Europe and South America
