BIG BANG is a Hiphop instrumentalist event featuring live PA sets by Chicago’s finest instrumental Hiphop producers. Sponsored in part by Ground Lift Magazine, this concert series will be held at the Darkroom (2210 W. Chicago Ave) with shows occurring every 2 months, culminating with the release of the The Opus’ 2008 album.
The concept behind this event is to feature Chicago instrumental Hiphop mainstays The Opus and Maker, while at the same time featuring producers who have been mentored and influenced by these mainstays. In addition, local urban-inspired painters and visual artists (Joey Potts, Peabe, Revise CMW) will supplement these events with live video and live art installations.
