About Me

after about a year and a half of protest, I finally joined the myspace. eh. I love everything about the rain: the smell, the sound, the look, playing in it, getting drenched or lightly misted. I am also a fan of traveling and wish I could do more of it, and when I say that, I mean that I want to go all over the world to practically everywhere. If anyone knows a rich benefactor, let me know. Sexual obligations not accepted. I like run-on sentences and rambling. I enjoy eating, as much and as often as possible, and I'll pretty much eat any type or style, unless it is in the style of meat. I love life, passion, love, acceptance and intelligence, animals, art (in all forms), sleeping, and most definitely people. I love the people in my life: my family, friends, and even my acquaintances and strangers. Despite my general lack of tact and inability to interact (oooh, that rhymed) I do like going out, especially if I can dress up, or even if the night ends in me singing "Welcome to the Jungle" into the toilet. Great acoustics...Did I mention my friends are awesome? ;) Anyway I like the outdoors, and camping, and the night sky, and of course acting is my life. I really need a dog. When I'm older and have disposable income, I want to buy a lot of land and rescue dogs and bring them there. And we will play. And there's much more than I hope could fit in an online profile. And I love to laugh. A lot. Especially when it's at myself... Home | Browse | Search | Invite | Film | Mail | Blog | Favorites | Forum | Groups | Events | Videos | Music | Comedy | Classifieds

My Interests

good alliteration, scars, theatre, people, family, friends, quirks, balloon animals in the shape of a monkey in a palm tree, real conversation, sparkles, stars, sparkly stars, crunchy stars (it was a cereal in the 80's, made by that chef from the Muppets... every box was, hand made, that is...he worked hard.. inept as he was), basically anything because I'm easily entertained and find most things to be quite interesting

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

I'd like to meet:

a three-toed sloth, a jar of fireflies, two dragons...even if it got a little weird, a pirate, a scholarly pirate, Sidney Poitier, and of course other people people whom I admire for their talent, mind, or political/social activism

Music:

Very essential as well. I can't narrow it down to specific bands or even genres, but I do know that I will be deaf by 25 because of going to concerts. Live music is amazing. All I'm saying is don't assume you know what I like, because it's pretty much anything....well, I don't really listen to country. bluegrass, but not country. Dance parties in my room!

Movies:

are apparently essential for me. Having Netflix this summer was fantabulous, especially since it allowed us to host a Gael Garcia Bernal film festival. Mucho Gusto. I can't pick favorites though, there's too many and I like almost any genre, even bad action films, unless they're particularly mindless....I'm sorry Avari, but The Transporter was pretty much rubbish. Some good ones, in no particular order: Amores Perros, Casablanca, City of Lost Children, In America, My Neighbor Totoro, North By Northwest, Amelie, 5th Element, Being Julia, Princess Mononoke, Nightmare Before Christmas, Vera Drake, Labyrinth, Shaolin Soccer, Johnny Depp (and yes, I realize that he isn't a movie, but he does make the movies he is in. nuff said)

Television:

sometimes it's good background noise or distraction, but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise. I do enjoy The Simpsons, Adult Swim, Sex & the City, Saved By the Bell reruns, The Cosby Show, That 70s Show, and Da Ali G Show. Respect. Flavor Flav!

Books:

I wish we still had the Book It! program. But instead of personal pan pizzas, you would get burritos. lots and lots of burritos. enchilda style optional. and pizzas too. because I really like those personal pan pizzas. makes you feel special. We love Harry Potter! I actually love to read, children's books and more substantial novels alike, but find it unnecessary to continue.

Heroes:

My family and friends. More specifically, my family. and my close friends. ha, I wish I would not repeat myself all the time, but I know what I meant by that. Chupa Cabra. Jesus is my homeboy.
