About Me

I'm a songwriter/singer/bassplayer working out of Oslo, Norway, having just finished my first "solo"-album. I play and have played in many different styles like jazz, soul/funk, folk and pop/rock with bands like jazz quartet Quarter Past, 11-piece soul/funk band The GrooveExperience and party band Los Machos. I write music for most of the bands I'm in, and have also written songs together with soul singer Guri Stubberud for her upcoming debut album. I have worked for a long time as a bass player with folk artist Silje Hrafa, and played upright bass on her debut album "Vanilla kiss". You can also hear me on the two albums by Quarter Past: "Smash no flash" (2004) and "Boom-pah" (2006), besides Richard Nygaard's album "Book of vast ideas" and Rolf Aakerviks "Bare for deg". Through the GrooveExperience project (www.thegrooveexperience.com) I've played with artists like Omar (UK), Nate James (UK), Siji (US), Side Brok (NO), Jonas (DK), Spleen (F), Baron Faty (F), Anthony Mills (US), Jaqee (SE), Mary N'diaye (SE), Sante (UK), Noora Noor (NO), Myrna Braza (NO), Samsaya (NO), Sofian (NO), Haakon Rasmussen (NO), Wisnu (NO), Daniel Glaister (NO), Aché (NO), Kristin Hild (NO), Mikkel Aakervik (NO), Queendom (NO), Petter Aagaard (NO), Son of Light (NO), Geisha (US), Lars Larssen (NO), Cesca (NO), Wenche Losnegaard (NO), Reza Aghamir (NO) og Mona Bekkelund (NO). .. ..
