“CELESTE”Annie “Celeste” Adams was born to sing. Her professional journey for singing began in 1998 as lead singer with a three member female group “Xpression”. The group was under the management of Lonette McKee (Sparkle, Women of Brewster’s Place) with 12B Records. Celeste remained with “Xpression” until 2000 at which time her venture as a solo artist began. In 2000 Celeste began working with R&B group “Solo” (A&M Records) and signed with the independent label Mackability Records which was managed by Eunique Mack (former member of the group “Solo”). Under this label Celeste began her song writing career on the staff of DanDar Entertainment (Daniele Stokes and Darnell Chavis; former members of the R&B group “Solo”). Celeste has referenced songs for various Bad Boy producers (Ronald “Amen-Ra” Lawrence, Mario Winans and Derrick D-Dot). She has sung hooks for Nikki D (Flava Unit). In 2003 Celeste became the only female artist of Trademark Entertainment, LLC (Durham, NC) and was affectionately known to her fans as “the Lady of Trademark”, Celeste departed from Trademark Entertainment, LLC in 2004. Celeste has performed in various shows and venues. Currently she has two songs feature on an independent films sound track, the title track “TORN” and her new single “Boy Bye”, which the film director shot a video for. Her single can also be heard and is featured on a compilation album that will be released nationally as the compilation showcases R&B artist who are from the Carolina’s and are not signed to a major record label, set for release in early 2008. “Celeste” will soon prove to the world that she was born to sing.
