Before Any Idea became a band; Members Noel and Jamie already had a band formed with good friend Robert (a.k.a. Poache).
After a a couple of months, Aaron was introduced to the other band members via a cyber sex session on the internet.
Little did we know he loved touching little boys, so Poache had to be kicked out to prevent any sudden urges
Aaron may have had during practice and/or slumber parties. In a short period of time, the band soon parted
on musical differences, and Aaron was introduced as Lead Vocalist / Bassist..
He died 3 days later.
The band was later renamed Any Idea in memory of that time Aaron once said to Poache: "Have you any idea how big my lenght is?"
I can assure you; it was massive...
Any Idea are a 3 piece band from Blanchardstown/Artane in Dublin. The band officially in November 2004.
Within a month of the bands starting, things began to pick up rapidly. The band had written a bunch of songs,
Aaron's constant "incidents" with little boys was decreasing rapidly, and everyone was improving all round... except Noel,
he just kept getting worse and worse on guitar...
He died 3 days later...
The first song the band completed was the track "24/Seven". Aaron had written this during the time of his previous
band but admired it enough to use it as an Any idea song. This song inspired new songs to be written, and is still
presently a favourite among the fans. A German scientist (named Grahamratm) has claimed (but never proven)
that "24/7 IS infact MORE familiar than home."
The band later completed other tracks like "Angeless Wings", "Days", "It's Not", and a few others,
then later went on to record their first demo in September 2005. It included 4 of their favourite songs
at the time and there was a total of 28 made and distributed amongst close family and friends.
The tracks included 24/Seven", "Days", "Angeless Wings" and "Its Not. Only 3 days after the official
release of the demo, Jamie fell in combat in Iraq. R.I.P.
The band has been placed in genres such as punk", "pop punk", "crap", "death metal", and "german rap".
Currently the band are writing new music, recording and saving the world. Watch this space.
