About Me

I love the Lord. Relationship with Him is so precious and sweet.In April I will be moving to Brazil to work as a missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). I will be living in Belo Horizonte for the next 2 years and working initially at an outreach house called the Rescue House. Each day street kids come to the house to eat, take hot showers, and learn about relationship with Jesus Christ.The nation of Brazil has been on my heart for almost 7 years now. I went there in the summer of 2000 and worked in a home for street children for about 3 months. Now, 7 years later, the Lord is taking me back to Brazil to live and work there. I am excited about going! I have much to learn -- as I am stepping out in faith to pursue this calling. A quote I love is, "You risk not living if you take no risks at all." I am stepping out. I am taking a risk. I am pursuing the dream the Lord has placed in my heart -- to help the hurting and to love the broken and needy ones... I am learning what true life is, as I live for Jesus.

knowing the Lord, worship, enjoying people, seeing transformation, having real conversations with people, traveling, learning about cultures and needs in the world, loving on kids, being outside, music, the beach, reading, running, long walks, good food, and life
