too many bands to mention, but i like music from taking back sunday, hellogoodbye, thursday, dashboard confessional, at the drive in, gymclass heroes, the aquabats!, saves the day, no doubt, jack's mannequin, the flaming lips, daphne loves derby, the postal service, motioncity soundtrack, idiot pilot, fall out boy, panic! at the disco, hot hot heat, my chemical romance, journey, the violent femmes, bob marley, frank sinatra, bloc party, the ataris, blink 182, the killers, weezer, and the get-up kids. there's more, believe me, but that'll take up a lot of space. but generally, i pretty much like most type of music. except for house. blech.
my favorite genres are dark comedy, and satire. i love indie films and i especially like movies that provoke thought. i also have a soft spot for "dumb" humor, 80's teen, romantic comedy, drama, eye-candy, coming-of-age dramas, musicals, and disney movies. some favorites: donnie darko, little miss sunshine, requiem for a dream, shortbus, best in show, zoolander, saved!, slc punk, the nightmare before christmas, who framed roger rabbit, the royal tenenbaums, newsies, ferris bueler's day off, the dead poets society, fast times at ridgemont high, the breakfast club, the trip, brokeback mountain, dogma, high fedilty, serendipity, kill bill, resevoir dogs, theusualsuspects, scarymovie, 50firstdates, surfninjas, teenage mutant ninja turtles, harry potter, back to the future, fargo, run lola run..yenno, just to name a few...
