About Me

Angelica: singer- Born out of wedlock, an unwanted bastard child of sorts, grew up in foster homes and group homes all around Long Island, NY. Got the hell out of dodge upon graduating high school and traveled about the U.S., Canada, and parts of Mexico for several years, working all kinds of wacky jobs and even a few serious jobs and getting a couple of tattoos. It was during those travels though, that she first fell in love with singing in a band while she spent time in Minneapolis, MN. But she put that aside to work in a sideshow for the last few years where she was discovered by two bizarre filmmakers who encouraged her to sing again, thus, Paint The Walls Red was born. So hold on to your hats and let's all enjoy their ride as they get lost down the rabbit hole of beautiful flaws and watch them laugh hysterically as they're tossed about in the whirlwind tornado of never ending possibilities ...

Influences: The different things people do. The snippets of hundreds of different conversations you hear while walking down a bustling city street. The smell of flower stands. Emotions. Bright yellow walls. Billboards at main intersections. The faces in the dirt patterns on snow. Both good dreams and the bad ones, too. Cooking shows. And the sounds coming from the neighbor's apartment that you can't quite figure out what's making it.
Sounds Like: Well... here's some feedback we've received from some listeners...
- It's like got this sandpaper roughness but then again its smooth like velvet. Yes, Broken Glass of Myriad Colors Laced with Purple Velvet Undertones.
- "Haunted", it has a great intoxicating sound.
- Your music is hauntingly dark and sultry, I love the way your voice one moment is sweet and loving the next ruff and demanding.
