Ca. I started off painting at the age of 16 with my dad at home in our garage. I never really planned on be a custom painter, but I always new since I was a kid that I wanted to be some kind of artist. The first thing I ever painted was my Shovelhead, and that was because my dad is and always was a do it yourself kinda guy. So he talked me into laying out some flames and scallops on my tanks and fenders of my bike. I had no fucking idea what I was doing. All I know is that when I saw Dennis Jones the pinstriper stripe the outline of my flames and scallops and just seeing the end result of the whole painting process I was hooked! I knew right then and there that I wanted to learn and do it all and with the help of some old time painters and pinstripers I have done so. But I don't think I will ever finish learning. I really enjoy meeting new artists and who don't hesitate to share there techniques and secrets, artists who beleive in keeping the craft alive. I have been painting for 7 years now. I have been pinstripng for about 4 years now. And there is no end in sight.... I feel like I am just getting started!
