My Grandpa: He was always there for me, all 18 years of my life, not as a Grandpa but as a best friend. His sense of humor was unreal, he always knew just what to say to get us to crack up no matter what the situation was, thats what I love about him, I see so much of myself when I look into his eyes. Saying goodbye to him was unreal..I just couldnt comprehend him leaving me, but as each day passed I could see myself gradually losing him a little more and I felt completely helpless, he literally died in my arms and up until that point I thought it was nearly impossible to cry, now a big portion of my life consists of it. When im laying in bed at night remembering all the times we've had, When I wake up and walk through the kitchen without seeing him in his chair, When I walk past his room with everything exactly how he left it, When works getting done outside in the shed without him holding the wrench. All the little things in life that I took for granted each day that I would give anything to have back now that there gone. I'll always love and cherish him and hold his memories close to my heart
