Radical Sons: Throwing Knives EP
Released: June 2009 on St. Ives Records

The Radical Sons came to life while all four members were still in various high schools around St. Louis. The boys first got attention by opening for critically acclaimed bands like The Strokes side-project Little Joy, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, and Be Your Own Pet, as well as playing at the 2008 CMJ Music Festival in New York City. This June the Radical Sons will join the ranks of Animal Collective and The Microphones when St. Ives (an imprint label of indie powerhouse Secretly Canadian Records), releases the band's debut EP. The record will be available through all digital outlets and in a highly limited 300-copy run of custom-designed vinyl.
