Jeremy Goodfeather Native American (Mohawk,Mexica)San Francisco CA Based Singer/Songwriter. Accompanied by Percussionist Crow Knight of Hocoka(Ho-cho-kah) . Together as a duet we play a dynamic acoustic set of original, heart felt music, with a simple, straight forward vibe. Pulling from a wide range of influences and styles to create an organic sound that can be Rock, Blues, reggae, Funk, Jazz, country or anything else that it takes to tell a story with music. Deeply influenced by Native spirituality I am seeking to offer music that can be healing and meaningful without being tied down to any kind of stereo type that is Typically associated with "Native Music"After being awarded an Individual Arist Grant from the San Francisco Native Arts Comission in May of 2008. We are currently in the studio with Producer Greg Landau to cut a Debut record which should be released before the end of 2008.Joining the Goodfeather team for the recording is Bassplayer Geoff Brennan, an extremly talented musician, whom we hope to continue working with in the future for live performances and future recordings if scheduels permit.Also be on the look out for the Documentary film "Truth Burn" by filmaker John Parulis which features the the song "The Truth about it".
