My dream has always been to live in Los Angeles, and work in the entertainment industry – SO HERE I AM, living in the land of Mercedes Benz,Power Lunches, and Yoga at midnight! I am working for the largest media corporation in the entire world, The British Broadcasting Corporation (The BBC or Beeb (as the Brits know it)). More specifically, I am the in-house PR liaison for BBC Worldwide Productions in Los Angeles and I run all of our LA Special Events. You may have heard of a few of our projects.. "DANCING WITH THE STARS", and the "Grease" themed "YOUR THE ONE THAT I WANT" "VIVA LAUGHLIN" "HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH" "CLASH OF THE CHOIRS" "DANCE WAR: BRUNO VS. CARRIE ANN". My favorite aspect of my job is event planning. I was the lead event director for the BBC Emmy Bash, Grease Wrap Party, Grease Premiere Party, DWTS Emmy Screening Event, Viva Laughlin launch party, as well as a slew of wrap parties for Dancing with the Stars. The BBC has opened so many doors for me already... it has blown my mind! I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity to follow my dream. Though I am an "industry gal" now, I manage to remain extremely involved in Republican Politics, and have the distinct honor and title of Administrative Vice Chairman for the California Young Republicans, as well as Chairman, for the Los Angeles County Young Republicans. In my political tenure I have staffed numerous campaigns, and served as the Special Events/Statewide Youth Coalitions/Women's Alliance Director for the California Republican Party. It's so much fun to blend the two separate worlds together! Besides.. we need more Republicans in Hollywood, dontcha think?! I am a total girlie-girl but I have a passion for sports! I knew the WSU fight song when I was two years old! I love Washington State University football more then anything, and have an aficionado for football, basketball, baseball, and golf! Both Sports and Cheerleading have played a big part in my life, and my favorite thing in the world is cheering for my teams (Cougs/Zags/Sonics/Seahawks/Mariners/Dodgers). Most weekends, if I'm not travelling to away games.. you can find me tailgating at Dodger Stadium, The Staples Center, The Rose bowl, or the USC Coliseum. Please never wear purple and gold around me, those are Husky colors - and I'm not a fan. Things I love and cant live without: my blackberry (I'm a crackberry addict), the color pink, glitter, princess paraphernalia, Hugh Hefner, my Shih Tzu Presley, dressing up in ruffles, bows, and polka dots, and LA shopping! I am alumna of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
