DJ Uniek’s professional career began at the tender age of 14, DJ-ing clubs in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC. After graduating high school in 1998, he moved to California and continued his career, spinning at the hottest LA clubs such as Element, Shag, Mood, Forbidden City, Spider club at the Avalon, Cinespace, The Larchmont, Key Club, and the Day After at Montmarte.Word spread, and soon the Hollywood entertainment industry came a-calling. DJ Uniek has spun for premiere parties, TV and movie wrap parties, and special events for high-profile clients such as Halle Berry, George Clooney, Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony, Sandra Bullock, Regina King, Hayden Christensen, Paul Giamatti, and Carlos Mencia.A few of the TV show and movie wrap parties DJ Uniek has hosted include The O.C., CSI Miami, CSI New York, Dancing With the Stars, Malcolm in the Middle, Grease: You’re the One That I Want, Curious George, War of the Worlds, Miss Congeniality 2, Kill Bill 2, and The Shield.DJ Uniek also mixed for the “Hip Hop Heaven†show every Friday night from 6 – 11 p.m. on 100.9 FM, The Heat, a radio station located in Lancaster, CA.
