Happiness cannot be found. It isn't hiding behind some corner, waiting for you to discover it. Happiness comes from knowing the joy inside one's heart, a joy that we were all blessed with at birth. If anything, we may give happiness up, but we truly never lose it. It was never hidden from us, rather we at times choose to hide from it. Some embrace it, some shy away from it. It is that fact that some people find happiness just from the sight of a rainbow while others can't find joy in a million dollars. So don't go out and search for your happiness for you will never find it. Instead, choose to be happy and you will be happy. I choose to be happy cause life is great! And even better after a few drinks hehe.
1) Fellow recovering liver regenerates who feel that an occasional relapse into insobriety is only harmful if there is not enough alcohol to go around for everyone. 2) Fellow masochists who believe that it is enjoyable to strap themselves into 1 or 2 elongated sticks and tumble down the side of a white powdery mountain and then get up and do it again. 3) Fellow perseverants who brave up to 24 hours of flight while praying for the prevention of the dreaded numbness in ass syndrome in order to find the perfect serene white beach. 4) Fellow courageous mortals willing to overcome all their fears of mad cow, bird flu, and other food diseases to find that special location to ingest a well prepared meal. 5) Fellow rationalists or dreamers who have an isatiable desire for thought provoking philosophical conversations complimented with the occasional thoughtless but humorous babble. ------ If you fit any of these, then just drop me a message ^.^

Yeah.. the rectangular box that displays moving pictures. Got two, although rarely are either on. Maybe when producers decide to make something that's worth watching, I'll tune in more often.
The Giving Tree, The Compass of Zen, Memnoch the Devil, but rather than books, I like certain authors.
This answer is long and serious so for those who have a short attention span, stop right here and move on to the next - hey don't say I didn't warn you. ---------------------------------------------------- There are many great people who have walked this earth. Just to name a few there is Buddha, Confucious, Jesus, Ghandi, my parents, all the service men and women who put their lives on the line everyday for our welfare (not just military). However as much as these people and others who I haven't mentioned have done for humans in general, and as much as these people have given us hope, have given us the inspiration to aspire, and courage, we must not overlook the common hero that we all share. That person is "I or Me". ----- It is not to say that I am better than the above mentioned people nor would I consider myself sane if I put myself in the same league. The reason I say this is because great people have, and continue, to lay the groundwork for our well being throughout history til the present day and well into the future after we are gone. However a hero is also someone who saves me on a daily basis. In essence only I can truly save myself. It doesn't matter what I believe or who I believe in. If I can't find the strength, the fortitude, the necessity, the desire, and the will, it matters not who else is out there. So there is a hero in all of us, and it is ourselves.
