Acoustisaurus is an acoustic guitar duet from Albuquerque, New Mexico. We play instrumental arrangements in many different styles: Celtic, Jazz, Brazilian, Latin, classical and eclectic blends of many others.We have been playing together for almost 20 years. Most of our music is original compositions, though we doplay a few pop, rock and Irish covers. We have played all sorts of venues from small dinner parties toconcerts. Our Name, ACOUSTISAURUS, comes from one of our songs by the same name. We wrote the song and it reminded us of a T-Rex stomping through the jungle...but a cool T-Rex, wearing sunglasses and a Hawaiian shirt. We named the song Acoustisaurus.....and decided it also made a pretty good band name.
