Well I'm a Navajo from St Michael's, Arizona. I graduated from St Michaels High School in 2001. I've been away from the rez for about 5 years now, the reason being school and the United States Marine Corps. I am a student, studying aviation maintenance technology at Redstone College in Broomfield, CO. I am also employed at Mayo Aviation at Centennial Airport in Denver. Never thought I'd miss living in New York but I do. I was discharged from the Marines this past June and I honestly don't miss it that much. I do miss turning wrenches on KC-130 "Hercules" aircraft, though. I guess you can say I've been around the world (twice unofficially). That's the only part i miss about the military is the opportunity to travel. I really enjoy my job in aviation and honestly think it is what i was put on this earth to do.
