About Me

Essex-born and now based in Southend, I have been writing poetry for many years and have published 2 pamphlet collections - Beachgame (1977) and The Watchers (1987) - as well as poems and reviews in a number of magazines and anthologies. A new collection, Chorus and Coda (ISBN 978-0955092671), is now available from The Littoral Press.I am currently secretary of the Southend Poetry Group (see http://www.southendpoetry.co.uk ). Also associated with the Open University Poets (see http://www.oupoets.org.uk ) and the Essex Poetry Festival .
