About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !
I'm a wife, mother, and anglophile who reads a lot and watches too many films and too much t.v.
LA is my hometown, but I haven't lived there since 1991.
In 2004, I completed my first tour of the States which included San Francisco. I left there spoiled in everyway, and yet, I can't stop moving. I continued on with the tour; this time in the heart of the Holy Roman Empire, now called the European Union, in the crossroads of Europe also known as Luxembourg.
You can catch me staring at the computer screen or the t.v. screen. I am compulsive about reading-- often my nose is buried in three different books in one week and that will be all the books I'll read in that month. I used to listen to music, but its been replaced by telelvision--SKY satelite. I like watching television in English not German or French.
Who needs "Desperate Housewives" in "German anyway?
And can you get "American Idol" or E! Television on European tellie? That's a big, "NO!"
I'm supposed to be writing something lasting, but here I am writing blogs. I work for kudos: if you read my blogs, be a doll and leave me a couple of kudos. Got it?
This week, something really funny happened to me....

My Interests

You Are 64% Addicted to Myspace
Your Myspace addiction factor is: High

You are officially addicted to Myspace. It's quite possible you haven't seen a real person in days. Are You Addicted to Myspace?

reading, writing, watching t.v/movies, tennis and sailing if near a body of water.

I can't stand that since I live in the Low Lands not the States, I can't vote on American Idol. It just kills me!

I'd like to meet:

Old friends, family, and new friends who enjoy reading books, watching movies, playing tennis, or like myspace, why not send me a friend request. Can't have enough friends, right? I do have one request, please, use standard English, not Urban speak. I already function in six languages; I would prefer not to learn a seventh!

Music:

I like all kinds of music, jazz

and, right now, anything in English, especially songs that feature "California". Tear. And Keane isn't so bad, but they make me want to cry my eyes out like I had a broken heart. They are that good, because my heart is whole. The one I love, loves me, too.

Movies:

Seven (New Line Platinum Series)

Heat

Emma

Bridget Jones's Diary (Collector's Edition)

Pride & Prejudice (Widescreen Edition)
Pride and Prejudice (Special Edition)

The Lake House

Clueless - "Whatever!" Edition
I love movies! I've been known to say that I was raised in Hollywood, but really it was Koreatown. I did watch a lot of movies at the Mann Chinese back when it was gritty and urban instead of a mini-Disneyland. How many people these days can say that?
I've watched movies by myself. I've watched movies just to be watching a movie. I can eat a bucket of sweet popcorn and drink 3/4 of a liter of coke and fanta by myself. I'll laugh off my seat during the movie, then I'll say, "yeah, it was okay." I like to enjoy the movie when I'm in the theatre. Once the lights are back on, I can think about it intelligently.
Daniel Craig as James Bond in Casino

Television:

I love MTV, E!, and anything reality television. What's wrong with Europe that they don't have reality tv here? No Survivor, not much Amazing Race, but I did get American Idol and some E! reality shows. Love you Alex Quinn!

*****New shows that I love:*****

Neil Patrick Harris (is H.O.T.) in *** "How I met your Mother" ***: so hilarious and Neil steals the show!
Yeah, its true, I had a crush on him when he was Dr. Dougie. I like tall, intelligent, fun(ny) guys, and proud of it.

"Treasure Hunters" was also fun and challenging. I rooted for the geniuses from Go! Smart guys (vs smart asses) are H.O.T.

Kevin McKidd as Bothwell in Gunpowder, Treason and Plot: a historical UKTV drama. Do you remember him from Trainspotting?

Books:

Anything written by: John Irving, Larry McMurtry, Johanna Lindsey, Ayn Rand, Jane Austen, Nick Hornby. I do enjoy novelizations of movies, especially when I can compare the three works-- original novel, screenplay, and novelization.
