Swallowed

The rotting of Swallowed began at the end of the summer of 2007 when Samu and Topi decided to form a band which plays real death metal (e.g. Nihilist, Autopsy, Repulsion...). Samu made a couple songs and Swallowed started to look for a drummer. Soon Topi's old friend Tommi, from his former projects, joined in the band. Swallowed rehearsed for a month or two and recorded their first demo, Putrefaction, with this line-up.
After all, only a few copies were made mainly for friends. After the demo sessions Tommi dissolved from the band. Swallowed got quickly new drummer when their close friend Ville joined in. When Ville came to the band the atmosphere changed to some extent. The music turned into more slimy and morbid.
In summer of 2008, Ville and Samu decided to kick Topi from the band. After that they rehearsed and wrote more songs for the second demo. 'Epitaph Of Nauseation' was recorded between 13th and 14th of July in Samu's garage. Samu recorded also bass tracks on the demo and did some backing vocals. During the summer '08 Swallowed rehearsed couple of times with Veke on the bass but it didn't turn out that well. So they continued playing as a duo.
