About Me

As people hurt, rape, and murder each other across the globe I will refuse to turn my head, and pretend not to notice! "Kill time, not life. Shoot pool, not people..."Slug.. .. ..>What is it about 'not knowing' that threatens people so much? Why is it that so many people are quick to change the subject when asked a question that they do not know the answer to? Only to become hostile and angry when you again pose the original question. Why is the comfort of residing in the realm of known things so appealing to us. Is it because through comfort we obtain safety, with safety we preserve our own lives, and through the preservance of one's own life we insure the possibility of procreation. Which, according to nature, would seem to be our pupose. Perhaps that is it. However, I say that the comfort of residing in the realm of currently known things should be anything but. It should not be comfortable, but should serve as a warning. It should warn us that "You merely think you know. You merely assume that some things can't be known".
