I think that I can be defined by my favorite day of the year: HALLOWEEN. I love horror movies, Sci Fi, and almost anything creepy. I am a bit sick of the grotesque slasher movies that keep on being made over and over again, such as, Hostel and Saw 15 (or whatever number they are on now.) It's not even as different as the only Halloween and Friday the 13th movies. At least those would make you laugh every once in a while. But, I still like things dark and scary.
I am a photographer and I do portrait, landscape, and art photography. I have been really enjoying myself working with fashion photography. My favority fashion is Goth (of course) but I love anything that is more artistic and not common. I have met some incredible models Lady Syn, Mistress Nytemare, and Dead Dollie, to name a few, that have been incredible to work with. It is great to work with someone that can see your vision and make is real.
2008 has been a tough year. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in May and we have been working with the doctors to fight it. His last test has shown that the cancer is gone and he has completed a series of 18 radiation treatments to make sure that it is complete eliminated. Now, we wait and pray that he stays in recovery. We are ready to move on and and be even more creative than what we where in the past.
Volunteerism
I have never been much of a volunteer when I was younger (large groups of people make me nervous) but I have found it to be a lot of fun and rewarding. I have volunteered several times for Feed My Starving Children, which is, a group that packages nutritional and life saving meals to be distributed all over the world. I've volunteered with my seven-year-old son to package meals. He loved it and we enjoyed the time that we spent together. There are not a lot of volunteer activities available for seven year olds, but this one was great for him and he wants to do it every year.
