The following bio was penned by Josh Harris
The illegitimate son of Bill Gates & Farrah Faucett, Josh Harris came into this world in 1976 & is widely considered to be the greatest thing to come out of the 70's next to the Pet Rock. A product of Homewood High School & UAB Josh has been working in radio for nearly a decade. After serving as an indentured slave (interning) for WJOX 690 AM, the Birmingham Barons, the Birmingham Bulls, the Birmingham Steeldogs, the Birmingham Thunderbolts & the Birmingham News, Josh landed the Program Director slot at a small, non-commercial radio station in Birmingham, WJSR 91.1 FM & helped introduce a sports talk format there. After a year of hosting the highly successful & award winning 'Weekly Sports Wrap Up', Harris took his substantial talent & cunning wit back to WJOX after winning the JOX Roundtable's 2nd Annual 'Not So Dream Job' Contest. While there he co-hosted the Roundtable several times & also co-hosted & produced the legendary & wildly popular 'Basketball Showcase'. After conquering WJOX Harris then took his act to WAGG 610 AM in Birmingham & served as the producer & co-host of the epic 'College Football Wake Up Call'. After a dispute with management Harris went into seclusion in the hills much like Jeremiah Johnson only to be born again like a phoenix & resurface in the Rocket City: Huntsville, Alabama to bring you the most in depth coverage of the Tennessee Valley sports world. While not getting carpal tunnel syndrome by signing tons of autographs because he is greatest thing to happen to radio since Marconi, you can find Josh residing in Madison, AL with his wife, Stephanie; son, Leo; his 2 miniature Schnauzers Rufus & Scruffy & his 2 cats, Chuck & Bea.
The following is a better bio typed by Michelle Lott (DJ-Michelle, Rockstar, etc.):
The perfect, innocent daughter of two sports obsessed parents, Michelle came into being in 1989. She was well known for her basketball career from the age of seven to thirteen. Some say she would've made it pro. Others say she probably should have stayed on the bench. Michelle says she enjoyed the concession stand from that period of time.
From the tender age of five, Michelle was a softball HERO. Famous for illegal slides and hitting cars with homeruns, Michelle unfortunately hung up her glove and bat at eleven when soccer became more popular. Being new to soccer, Michelle didn't know she would turn out to be a starter and lead scorer. Michelle tried playing soccer for the Athens Middle School soccer team, but laughed when they told her the workout schedule.
In high school, Michelle payed more attention to music and theater. Sports seemed to have died in Michelle's life until the age of eighteen, when she was hired as a board op. for Cumulus Media in Athens. After graduating Athens High School, Michelle began working with Josh Harris on 730am the UMP in July. Today, she is attending Calhoun Community College majoring in communications and music and contradicting every word Josh Harris says.
Michelle has short'ish brown hair and blue eyes. She wears glasses to fool people into thinking she's brilliant (even though she is). Michelle spends a lot of time with her friends and also with her four cats Shy, Zeus, Biddy, and Allex and also, her dog Briley and her hamster Samson.
Astro is the definition of smart and sexy. When he was no longer tall enough to run the basketball court or hold down the outfield on a diamond, Astro decided to start running his mouth. Don't let his calm tone fool you. Once called an S.O.B by a preacher's wife, this opinionated sooth-sayer comes to you from the great confines of Zip City, Alabama (North of Florence). A former Pharmacy Tech, Space Camp junkie and a life long sports fan, he couldn't see himself doing anything else but talk radio. He tried the whole job thing and it didn't work out. A portable radio was the only thing that kept him from going insane. Astro found his inspiration as a short term intern at WAGT-TV and WJBF-TV in Augusta, GA. Astro began finding his true talent by writing blogs on anything from sports, politics, and idiot celebrities. He was hired in late 2007 by Cumulus Broadcasting as a Board Operator and was "The Unofficial" Sports Director for the Tim Knox Show on WVNN. Astro enjoys kayaking, wakeboarding, playing softball, and living every facet of life that is liveable. Astro hates people who dress like thugs, Tennessee football, women who don't have a clue, and gold teeth. Astro is 25 and single (hint, hint). He eventually wants to excel in the radio business and one day be in the same light as his inspirations Jim Rome and Colin Cowherd.
