Trumpet; Flugelhorn; Composer; Arrangeur; Conductor,
Stuttgart and everywhere else..Dominik Wagner was born in 1986 and after a long period spending on school (well ok I tried) and dorfkapellenmusic, he figured out that there..re more possibilities for giving personal thinking into music, so he started to play jazz, always with the ideal to express himself in what he does.
Today he studies Jazz-Trumpet and Composition in Stuttgart and works as a freelance musician, composer and teacher.
Together with his best friends, he formed the "Dominik Wagner Quartett" playing all his own compositions. He also plays in the Music University Big Band, the cover formation "Biko & the damagued labour horns" and he played in the youth jazz orchestra Baden-Württemberg.
In different workshops/projects/concerts and lessons he already worked with Rainer Tempel, Claus Stötter, Ack van Royen, Jiggs Wigham, Bernd Konrad, Peter Herbolzheimer, Oliver Leicht, Steve Altoft, Stephen Skews, Lingua Loca, Malte Burba, Christian Meyersd, Achim Rothe, Herbert Joos, Frank Kuruc, Wolfgang Dauner, Frank Sikora, Julian Gibbons (UpperRhine youth wind band/ BISYOC Symphony Orchestra/ TriRhenum Symphony Orchestra) and many more...Concert Tours already brought him to the United States, Canada, Belarus, Lithuania, United Arabian Emirates, England, Scotland, Wales, Italy, Spain, France and Switzerland (well ok not a big tour it..s just around the corner)In November 2008, his first big Composition, the children..s Musical "Engel sein" had it..s wunderfull premiere with 65 (!!!)primary school kids.
