And now, of course, like all real life experience stories, this also begins once upon a time, in Chorlton town, of the republican domain of the Mancunian.
Five scallywags, full of high jinx and monkeyshines, form Elgazelle. Enthused and fused by the sounds of the sixties; the chimes and rhymes of Mod and Soul, Garage Psych and Rock n Roll. They unite over a shared affection for sherbet and pop, John Smedley and Clarks Originals.
Elgazelle have dazzled and delighted the townsmen and women of Manchester, with their eclectic mix of retro pop sounds and powerful performances.
Now after a little lapse of time, the band, gathering all behind them, plod deeply forward into the heart of Salford. Their destination, the palace of George the Good, Blueprint Studios, where they take upon themselves the recording of their second batch of auditory splendour.
Elgazelle are Paul Wright (Lead Vocals/Harmonica), Rick Hyde (Guitars/Vocals), Phil Lodge (Bass/Vocals), Lee Morse (Lead Guitar) and John Gagon (Drums).
