I'm a real culture addict....which is why I love living in NYC...I collect DVDs and CDs....I love film, music, and art. I travel for two months every year...alternating domestic and international travel. I'm a real Godzilla fan and have deep interests in Oz, Agatha Chistie, Sherlock Holmes, science fiction, and comics. I'm developing an amazing collection of original comics and comic strip art...and cels for the animated movies I adore hang in the galleries of both my homes.
My preferences lie with tan guys...especially Asian guys...but quite a few black, Latino and white guys turn my head too. I've even been known to wake up next to a lady on occasion.....
Rock lies at the core of my soul...I have an encyclopedic collection going all the way back to the early days....but my library also has lots of jazz, world and show music too. I'm working on a survey of hip hop from old school to modern day as we speak.
What can I say about the thing that takes up more of my time than any other interest outside of work and school....I love the classics of the 30s, science fiction, Hong Kong and Bollywood films. I go to see 2-3 movies a week...haunting the film fests too....I just finished a week seeing the Asian International Film Fest, before that it was the New Film Fest....upcoming are the Godzilla Festival at Film Forum...and the NY Film Festival.
Well, the top 1% of anything is worth watching....even though they cancel so many of the quality shows...from Buffy to Futurama. Right now I'm watching Survivor, Smallville, Entourage, and Six Feet Under....Amazing Race and Big Brother 5 also are guilty pleasures!
Well, one of the main reasons I keep the house in CT is for my book collection. The 14,000 volumes wouldn't fit in the city place...it focuses largely on science fiction, mystery, and large science and nature collections, but you'll also find lots of film, comic art, and art books. I'm most proud of my complete Oz collection.
Thomas Jefferson has to be my favorite hero. When it comes to fiction, I also admire Ultra Boy from the Legion of Superheroes.....
